Asus Eee Pad Slider

The Asus Eee Pad Slider is a light weight tablet running the Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system. This is similar to the Asus Eee Pad Transformer, but has an integrated keyboard that slides out whenever you need it.

The battery integrated into the unit lasts up to 8 hours, but the battery with the Asus Eee Pad Transformer uses a separate dock that can last up to 12 hours. Otherwise they are mostly the same, with a touch and pressure sensitive display measuring 10.1 inches with 1280x800 pixels. Processing power comes from a NVIDIA Tegra 2 GPU which can play video in 1080p HD quality. The device connects with Bluetooth and Wi-Fi, and can be plugged into a USB 2.0 for easy file transfer. A mini-HDMI port is also available for direct connection to an external display.
