Product Shot 2 The tablet part has a 10.1'' display and a built in battery to extend the battery life of the devices. The phone runs Google's Android 3.1 operating system, and it can be docked into the tablet. The tablet essentially acts as a bigger screen for the phone, but the user interface will be adjusted automatically to suit the bigger display. That isn't really an issue considering many tablets on the market today (including the iPad) runs smartphone operating systems and is powered by the same hardware used in smartphones. The Padfone is yet another innovative Android device by Asus along with the Asus Transformer. It is a good solution for users who do not want two separate devices.
