Fusion Garage Grid10

The Fusion Garage Grid10 is a 10.1 inch tablet that uses it's own proprietary Android kernel-based operating system called GridOS which assembles all of the applications and settings in groups or 'clusters' on a fully editable, square grid for easy access and manipulation with the touch of a finger.

Where other OS's have pages of functions that you flip between, this is a bird's eye view of a large grid or basically a big page if you will, with everything immediately accessible by sliding the grid with your finger. On the side are a 3.5mm headphone jack, USB port, SIM card and microSD card slot, and a special plus is you can watch videos and other content direct from the card without having to upload to the device first. Grid Maps is a program which has been included which is basically the same as Google Maps, as well as a program called Heartbeat which handles multitasking and a messaging program which ties together your Facebook, email, Twitter accounts etc into one list. Access to Amazon Apps makes up for no access to the full Android Market and you can also side load apk format applications. Stereo speakers have been built into the device along with a 1.3 megapixel webcam located directly above the display, while the back is made of a durable smooth matte metal. The Grid10 features a dual-core Nvidia Tegra2 processor which adds speed and fluidity to movies, games and general operation, and the 16:9 LED backlit widescreen display's 1366 x 768 resolution is the highest out of any 10 inch tablet at the time of release.
