A 5-megapixel camera is fitted on the rear of the tablet for still photo and video capture, with a second front-facing camera available for video-conferencing needs. Thin and lightweight for ease of transport, the OpenTablet 7 runs Google's Android 3.0 (Honeycomb) operating system and provides users with access to the ever-growing Android Marketplace application store. In addition to Wi-Fi connectivity, users can opt for 3G radio tuning for live streaming wherever they go. Bluetooth 2.0 with EDR (Enhanced Data Rate) technology offers wireless synchronization and content tethering options, with full HDMI outputting for porting 1080p video files to external devices. Internal memory can be expanded via MicroSD card support up to 32 gigabytes for download-intensive operation, with USB 2.0 connectivity also available. In addition, the OpenTablet 7 incorporates scratch-resistant Corning's "Gorilla Glass" to maximize the longevity of the unit while retaining brightness and overall clarity.
