Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1

The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is an Android tablet device running the Android 3.1 Honey Comb operating system. This differs from the previously announced (March) Galaxy Tab 10.1, which has been subsequently renamed to Galaxy Tab 10.1V, which is available only to Vodafone Europe.

The 10.1 was revised after Apple's announcement of the iPad 2. As a result, Samsung have slimmed down the 10.1 from 10.9mm to 8.6mm but it also meant that the camera have been downgraded from a 8 megapixel to a 3 megapixel camera. Other features remains identical, these includes the high resolution 1280x800 display  protected by scratch proof Gorilla glass, dual core 1GHz processor, and wireless b/g/n connectivity. The Galaxy Tab 10.1 will be shipped with Samsung's TouchWiz user interface in some regions but with standard Google Honey Comb in others. The Samsung Galaxy Tab 10.1 is a good option for buyers looking for a capable and stylish Android tablet.
