The Samsung Sliding PC 7 Series is a tablet PC with a slide-out keyboard to give a feel like working with a laptop. Operation is handled through a 10.1 inch touchscreen display that runs in 1366 x 768 resolution, and both Wi-Fi and WiMax are built in for quick connections to the Internet.

The unit weighs 2.18 pounds and runs on up to 9 hours of battery power before needing to recharge. Processing is handled through the Intel ATOM Oak Trail chip running at 1.66 GHz, and while Windows 7 Home Premium is the main operating system the Samsung Touch Launcher makes a number of apps available specific to touch-screen interfaces. The system has an ambient light sensor to automatically dim or brighten depending on the environment's lighting conditions.
