The Cons:Bulky plastic only build - cheap and unattractive compared to other pure tablet designs. Small display is difficult from a usability experience - closer to a PDA in size. Slower, restrictive hardware comparable to a cell phone - 800MHz Freescale processor, 512MB of memory, 8GB of flash storage.
The Sharp NetWalker PC-T1 is a tiny 5” Ubuntu tablet released as a step-up from the NetWalker PC-Z1. It sacrifices its predecessor’s keyboard while maintaining its 1024x600 resolution. Featured on the PC-T1 is the Ubuntu operating system, a freescale semiconductor processor, and 512MB main memory / 8GB flash memory (only 1.5GB of which is available for use).

Critics especially like the unit’s connectivity options, which include USB, microSD, microSDHC, and even 802.11b/g WiFi. Plus the unit comes bundled with several interesting software packs: an Anglo-Japanese dictionary and access to Sharp’s e-bookstore. It purportedly also ships with a carrying pouch and a charger for the 6-hour battery.
