The Thrive 7" is a touchscreen tablet device from the Toshiba company. Functioning as a direct competitor to similar models like the Apple iPad, Blackberry Playbook and HP TouchPad, this model features a 7-inch LCD display with AutoBrite LED backlighting and capacitive multi-touch capabilities.

Pre-installed with Google's Android 3.2 "Honeycomb" operating system, the thrive provides users with a customizable home screen interface for easier navigation of their most-used applications and services. Nvidia's Tegra 2 dual-core processor is included for powerful video rendering and smooth application multitasking, allowing users to run e-mail and text message services while browsing the internet and playing a game. Stock internal storage comes at a 16 gigabyte capacity, and it expandable up to a possible 32GB size for those with larger collections of picture, video and audio files. Furthermore, the Thrive includes both front and rear-facing digital cameras that cover image capture and video-conferencing needs alike.
